It’s a virtual bulletin board where you “pin” things you like to your own boards.
There is a little icon you install to your toolbar that lets you pin things from a web page you’re visiting. If you see something you really like on a web page, you click your little icon and a page will open with all the images from that page. Click on the image you want to pin and then choose which one of your boards you want it to go on. You can create different boards from the default ones.
You can also “re-pin” things from other people’s boards.
There are tons of recipes and great ideas for homes, gifts, quilts, etc.
When you find something you like on Pinterest, click on the image and it will take you to the page of the person who pinned it to their board. Then click on the image again to go to the page with the original web content on it.
I just joined last week and don’t have much on my boards yet but it’s fun, fun, fun.
