This is so funny. We are having trouble with hens wanting to set and since ours roam free during the day, sometimes they get away with it. Currently we have 5 that hatched (found a bunny nest box to use), a bantam (with one chick) hid under the Oregon grape bushes, and another under a cedar tree (we think we hear 3). Oh, they can be so cleaver when they want to be moms. I keep telling them it is NOT spring.
