Comment on Duck Calls by Linda S

The last few quilt shows I’ve been to have had an assortment of turned wooden quilting tools – rippers, stilettos, etc., for sale and they were not only very expensive, but quite beautiful. Not to mention that one could make some awesome knitting needles out of nice wood! As far as ducks go, I’m from the home of the Oregon Ducks. Worked for the UO for 32 years and was never a fan. Our “sportsmen” (and I use the term loosely) often appear on the front page of the paper for drugs, robbery, domestic violence, exceeding the speed limit on the freeway by approximately 40-50 mph while their car reeks of dope (but they smoked it all, so they’re let go), or for driving without a license or insurance. Real role models all. As far as I’m concerned, Vince should make duck calls, and Chad should use them. Might as well shoot those ducks! ;P
